  • Early Morning Four Mile Run to Sugar Loaf Mountain Trail
  • Big breakfast at the house
  • Family Hike at Boynton Canyon Trail
  • College Football Playoffs on TV
  • Dinner at Mariposa Restaurant

Lauri got us started every day with a hearty breakfast. Today’s menu was omelettes, grits, toast, bacon and strawberries.

Every day we are impressed with the success of Thea and Isaiah to hike further and embrace the hiking experience.

Everybody’s Biggest Surprise of the Trip

Brittany: My kids will still fight in some of the most beautiful places in the country. But also the tall red rocks here were even more beautiful than I expected.

Brad: Outrageously gorgeous weather every day.

Thea: (When she wants to walk instead of be carried,) “I do myself.”

Isaiah: Our house has a hot tub!

Sara: It is so pretty here!

Mark: The willingness of our crew to go on a hike every day.

Lauri: I love hiking with a 3 year old. She sets a perfect pace for me.
